Water Damage for Manufactured Homes

Course Number: 604560

Date: 4/10/19

Time: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Credit Hours: 3

Description: In this class, you will learn just how much damage water can cause and what steps can be taken to reduce or minimize the damage in manufactured homes. Your insureds may not understand what construction methods make manufactured homes unique. Those unique features may impact the types of decisions that are made during water mitigation. If a Mitigation Specialist is called within 24 hours of a water loss, many dollars can be saved. Mitigation Specialists are trained to understand manufactured homes and to stabilize the damage and keep it from becoming worse. The result is less damage, lower cost, improved loss ratios and satisfied policyholders.

Mitigating Personal Property and Packout Claims

Course Number: 604559

Date: 5/15/19

Time: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Credit Hours: 3

Description: In this class, you will learn how technology is enabling the restoration professional to manage and track packout inventory, movement and restoration better than ever before, while giving the homeowner a sense of security about the process.

When disaster strikes, your policyholders may be traumatized by the thought of having their belongings moved to an off-site location for restoration and cleaning. They may need help discerning what can be restored and what is beyond the scope of restoration and cleaning. Most of all, they need to know their belongings will be handled professionally and with great care. These are aspects of the packout/contents restoration process that can make or break a homeowner’s perception of the service they are receiving from their insurance company and restoration contractor.
